What more can I say than absolutely bonkers! Technically brilliant, lyrically deranged! I’ve been a fan of this band for quite some time now, and they have only got better! Psyopus are a complete musicians band, if you love weird technical metal, these guys are right up your street. Unfortunately there is one problem with this album, quite a big one. As there is as such a thing as being too technical, this album could probably do with a lot more breakdowns, as when you get a few songs in, it wouldn’t be hard to mistake the first third of the album as one very, very long song as it hits you with riff after riff. Maybe I’m being too picky and I’m just not metal enough?! However when the album gets there it does have some nice jazz treats install for you, definitely at least worth checking out on the link. for fans of: the red chord, the dillinger escape plan, daughters |
